Sue-Ann Robinson, Esq.
Fort Lauderdale Trial Attorney · Court TV Analyst · Legal Commentator

At just 23 years old, Sue-Ann Robinson walked into the Broward County State Attorney's Office and began her career as a prosecutor. Homicide, drug trafficking, federal cases — she cut her teeth on the toughest dockets in South Florida. That early immersion in the system gave her something most defense attorneys never get: a prosecutor's instinct for how the other side builds its case.
In 2011, she channeled that experience into founding Frontline Law. The mission was clear from day one: aggressive, uncompromising legal representation for people whose lives hang in the balance. From federal conspiracy charges to high-profile civil rights cases, Frontline Law has become synonymous with courtroom tenacity in Fort Lauderdale and beyond.
Her practice spans criminal defense, civil rights litigation, personal injury, and business disputes. She is equally at home dismantling a prosecution's case in a RICO trial as she is holding negligent corporations accountable. Every case is tried with the same philosophy: preparation wins, and her clients deserve nothing less than total commitment.
Beyond the courtroom, Sue-Ann has built a prominent media career. As a legal analyst on Court TV, she breaks down high-profile cases for a national audience. She was cast as a member of the STARZ true crime series Wrong Man, where she investigated potential wrongful convictions. Her commentary has been featured on CNN, Fox News, Newsmax, and Law & Crime Network.
She also serves as Managing Director of South Florida for Ben Crump Law, one of the nation's most prominent civil rights firms. In that role, she leads litigation on cases of police misconduct, wrongful death, and systemic injustice — work that regularly makes national headlines and drives meaningful change.
A South Florida native of Caribbean descent and proud FAMU alumna, Sue-Ann is deeply rooted in the communities she serves. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and her Juris Doctor from Florida International University. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers for eight consecutive years, named one of America's Top 100 Criminal Defense Attorneys, honored as one of the Top 10 Black Women Lawyers by Black Enterprise Magazine, and received the 2020 Changemaker Award from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and a Certificate of Special Recognition from the United States Congress.
